The Portwest IUS240 Enhanced Visibility X-Back Insulated Vest is a cold‑weather FR layer designed for workers who need warmth, mobility, and dependable multi‑hazard protection without the bulk of a full jacket. The durable UltraSoft® shell provides long‑lasting flame resistance with a soft cotton feel, while the 14oz quilted insulation package adds serious warmth and a wind/vapor barrier for harsh outdoor conditions. This vest is ideal for oil and gas, utilities, construction, and welding environments where CAT 2 protection and freedom of movement are equally important.

  • Certified to NFPA 2112, NFPA 70E, ASTM F1506, CGSB 155.20, and CSA Z462, ensuring reliable multi‑hazard protection including arc flash, flash fire, molten ferrous metal, and welding exposure.

  • Westex® UltraSoft® shell (88% FR cotton, 12% nylon, 9 oz) provides engineered flame resistance with a soft hand and 50% longer wear life than 100% cotton FR garments.

  • 14oz Westex® FR modacrylic quilted insulation delivers substantial warmth while maintaining inherent flame resistance.

  • Wind and vapour barrier enhances protection in cold, windy, or damp environments.

  • H₂S monitor attachment point with strap and elastic fasteners allows secure placement without interfering with movement.

  • Two‑way zipper allows quick access and easy temperature regulation.

Ordering Questions

When will my order ship?

We aim to have all non-imprinted orders shipped within 3-5 business days after the order is placed!

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details. At this time, we ship to addresses within the contiguous United States.

We ship via UPS or USPS, depending on the size, weight, and destination of your order. Shipping method selection is handled automatically to ensure the best delivery option.

Please note that delivery times shown at checkout are estimates and begin once your order has shipped. Shipping delays caused by the carrier or weather are outside of our control.
How do returns work?

We want you to feel confident in your purchase. If an item doesn’t fit or isn’t quite what you expected, you can request a return directly from your order page using the 'Request Return' option.

Once your request is submitted, it goes directly to our Support Team. If the item is eligible, we’ll email you with return instructions. An approved RMA is required before sending any items back.

Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of receiving your order.

Returned items must be in new, resalable condition with original tags and packaging. All returns are inspected upon arrival to ensure they meet eligibility requirements before a refund is issued.

  • Custom or imprinted items are final sale and not eligible for return
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility
  • We recommend using UPS, USPS, or FedEx and keeping your tracking number, as we cannot be responsible for lost return shipments
